Formulations are selected based on their availability to Malaysian consumers, the completeness of their supplier documentation, and their relevance to the six catalogue categories Kaldevo covers. Submissions from manufacturers are accepted but do not ensure inclusion — each formulation must pass all six review stages independently of the submission source.

No. Kaldevo is an editorial catalogue, not a retailer or endorser. Inclusion in the catalogue reflects that a formulation met the framework's documentation and sourcing criteria at the time of review. It does not represent a personal recommendation or commercial endorsement by Kaldevo or its editorial team.

Formulations that fail at any stage of the process are not included in the active catalogue. In cases where the failure relates to incomplete documentation rather than a quality concern, the formulation may be re-submitted once the relevant documentation has been obtained and verified.

All active catalogue entries are scheduled for re-verification at 12-month intervals. Entries are also re-reviewed outside this cycle when a supplier notifies Kaldevo of a formulation change, when new batch documentation becomes available, or when editorial monitoring identifies a potential discrepancy.
